Staff Training Services

If you are located in the Madison, Wisconsin area, then you are lucky enough to be near the base of Strategies for Better Functioning, LLC. One of the services offered by SBF is staff trainings. In the health care field, in group homes, residential facilities, schools, etc., staff turn-over is fairly frequent. Information and training given to one group may be lost in a year or two. Annual or semi-annual staff trainings on a variety of subject areas can keep all your staff working together from the same base of information. In this way, your clients/students will be getting the best care.

Suggested topics for trainings are:

• Care and use of adaptive equipment.

• Assistance: How much, when and how to give.

• What is sensory integration?

• Feeding others: a social and learning experience.
